My Own Private Autumn

Autumn is hard to capture, there is more to it than a beautiful calendar picture to it. This year I haven’t felt the urge to go out at golden hours and plan a picture. I haven’t felt it. I do think, whats wrong with me? Don’t I love photography anymore? Do i need a rest and go through my Archive and look for answers?

I have abused abstract Autumns to death and still love them, but I enjoy a lot more to explore the unkown, to develope things, to make them different in my own eyes and when I feel shut down I turn into minimalism, back to the essence and simplify things, maybe the pictures here are not awesome but to me are a work in progress, I feel the need to develpe Autumn with an Oriental approach, simple and almost desaturated and elegant.

This is why there are some shots in Monochrome and also all very minimal, used an 85mm because I refused to go out with a wide angle, tripod and filters. I wanted simplicity in all.

I shall continue to pursue this next year too…maybe xx
